17-year-old Elis leads a creative, liberating life in a town without sunlight together with her eccentric uncle Maksim, constantly preparing for the sun’s return and using an old camera to document her unusual reality. When the rest of the community leaves and sunlight once again fails to appear, it dawns on Elis how constrained her apparent freedom is and she inadvertently starts questioning the place she grew up in, especially after she runs out of tape for her beloved camera.
