In a small village in Estonia, 15-year-old Liis decides to play a hunting game for the first time with a group of youngsters she wants to fit in with. She uses this opportunity to get closer to the boy she likes, the group leader Olev. But when he unintentionally shoots her hunting dog during the game and is unable to cope with the consequences, Liis overcomes her shyness and fear and decides to abandon the group forever.
